It’s a question of managing the situation until the oil crisis comes to a close and this is underlying the main reason for the employers’ body, the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise NHO together with Fellesforbundet (United Federation of Trade Unions) concluding, on 03 April, a commonsense agreement that incorporates an almost zero wage rise for 2016. The negotiation parties also called on the government to alter regulations over technical unemployment in a bid to safeguard jobs at any cost.
A responsible agreement. “This is a responsible agreement”, enthused Kristin Skogen Lund, NHO president, during the agreement’s signing. Union leader, Jørn Eggum declared, “We are delighted.
