Norway’s Labour government has announced various measures this summer aimed both at tackling workplace crime and improving the integration of young people and those distant from the labour market. The initiative is intended to boost workforce participation and cut reliance on social benefits.
The Norwegian government has presented a number of measures to be implemented as part of the 2025 budget, unveiled on 7 October by labour minister Tonje Brenna as one aiming to “encourage more people to work” and to step up the fight against crime in the workplace.
