February 23 by the European Metalworkers’ Federation (EMF), which gathered union leaders from Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, signed a declaration asking Opel’s management to immediately reverse the decision to shut the Antwerp plant and bargain with the EMF and the group’s EWC for employee contributions towards cost saving.
