Poland: 7,7 billion euros in foreign investments, with 51000 jobs

The results of a study of the Rzeczpospolita daily newspaper, based on the statements of foreign companies to the media and on data listed in 2005 by the Polish Agency for information and foreign investments, shows that a growing number of companies want to invest in Poland. (Ref. 06381)

The greatest investments came from LG Philips LCD, which is building two factories in Poland, one of which will manufacture LCD screens. These two factories will hire more than 12000 people.
