On 29 October, the Council of Ministers adopted a bill introducing additional maternity leave for parents of premature babies or babies born at full term but requiring hospitalisation. This leave will only be granted to those whose child needs to be hospitalised for at least two consecutive days. It will last from eight to 15 weeks, depending on the time spent in hospital.
