Japanese tyre manufacturer Bridgestone has announced that it will build a bus and truck tyre factory in Stargard Szczecinski. The factory will employ almost 800 people. (Réf. 06595)

The concern will allocate approximately EUR 200 million for the project, and the factory will belong to Bridgestone Europe. Production is to start in the first half of 2009 with an output of 5,000 tyres a day. “We will be able to ensure supplies in Europe from the factories located here,” declared the president of Bridgestone Europe, Takashi Urano.
