Poland: Covid-19 vaccinations starting in the workplace

From 04 May 2021, Polish companies can participate in administering coronavirus vaccinations. For this, they must apply online with the government and indicate the number of people wishing to be vaccinated. All employees and their family members are included, i.e. there are no age bands or restrictions on non-Polish citizens legally employed in the country.

Coronavirus vaccinations are organized on a voluntary basis. In line with the commitment made by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development, Labor and Technology Jarosław Gowin to the president of the employers’ Lewiatan Confederation, Maciej Witucki, and representatives of its associated companies, as of 04 May 2021, companies can organize vaccinations at their workplaces. Government guidelines have also been issued to specify how the vaccination programs are to be implemented....
