On 12 June, Poland’s coalition government proposed a 3% increase in the gross minimum wage from 1 January 2026, in line with next year’s inflation forecast. This would raise the minimum wage from PLN 4,666 to PLN 4,806 (€1,127). The minimum hourly rate would be PLN 31.40 (€73.66). This increase is in line with the finance ministry’s request but is lower than that announced by the labour ministry, which wanted the monthly minimum wage to rise to PLN 5,020 (€1,177).
