Poland: labour law excluded from scope of new whistleblower legislation
On 14 June, after a delay of two and a half years, the Polish parliament adopted the bill on the protection of whistleblowers. However, the text, which had been approved by the government, was radically amended when it passed through the senate, with labour law removed from the list of areas in which it will be possible to report breaches of the law. The bill now needs to be signed by President Andrzej Duda.
