The Polish government has decided to increase the minimum wage from next year. After the decision taken by the Council of Ministers on 14 September, the wage level will increase from 3,600 zlotys gross per month (around €780) to 4,242 zlotys (around €920) from 1 January. It will then rise to 4,300 zlotys a month (around €930) from 1 July, representing a total increase of more than 19% over the year. The hourly minimum wage will meanwhile go from 23.50 zlotys up to 27.70 zlotys on 1 January,...
