The management of Mittal Steel Poland and trade unions signed, March 16, 2006, an agreement guaranteeing employment for workers of IPS Groupe Service, one of its subsidiary companies, until 2009. (Ref. 06267)
After having already concluded social agreements guaranteeing employment to the 13000 employees of Mittal Steel two years ago, this new engagement should be followed by other agreements with the trade unions of the Polish subsidiary companies where Mittal holds 100% of the capital. All in all, these measures will affect approximately 7500 workers.
