Poland: premature birth leave enters into force

Adopted by the Polish parliament on 27 November last year, the bill introducing additional leave for parents whose child is born prematurely or requires hospitalisation after birth came into force on 19 March. This leave may last from 8 to 15 weeks depending on the length of hospitalisation, the duration of pregnancy or the weight of the child at birth.
