Opening up access for independent workers to trade unions. The draft law intends for freelance workers to be able to establish and become members of trade unions. Current legislation excludes independent workers with civil law employment contracts. The draft reform follows on from a Constitutional Tribunal decision from 02 June 2015 (see our article n°9126) that ruled as unconstitutional those provisions which only allowed salaried employees to establish or become members of trade unions....
