Volkswagen's staff representatives are furious : the new European company which now runs the Porsche group's involvement into Porsche AG (100%) and into Volkswagen AG (30.9%), refused to appoint one of them in the EC's new supervisory board. The constituent meeting of Porsche EC’s supervisory board took place on August 24 and 25. After the agreement on the creation of a European Works Council within Porsche, on May 10, 2007, and the green light given by Porsche AG’s shareholders to get an EC status (see our story 070573), Porsche AG’s transformation into Porsche EC is now complete.
