On 1 October, the government and the social partners signed the 2025-2028 tripartite agreement on improving wages and economic growth, with the exception of the trade union confederation (CGTP), which is close to the Communist Party. This document provides for a gradual increase in the minimum wage up until the year 2028. It will rise from €820 to €870 per month over 14 months from 1 January 2025, or €1,015 over 12 months.
