was permanently adopted on Friday, June 12. The text introduces higher employers’ social contributions for fixed-term contracts and subjects employers who appeal to “green receipt” provisions (temporary provision of services). (Ref. 090635)

The new code regulating social security contributions was adopted by socialist MPs (majority party) in the National Assembly. The new system should free an additional €80 million in 2010. Most of the text will be enforced on January 1, 2010.
