Portugal: rotating and partial strikes all week against austerity

Transport affected.  The Monday, February 7-Friday, February 11 is going to be a week characterized by partial strikes in transportation and at the Portuguese post.  The first to enter the contest movement, subway workers in Lisbon jammed road access to the Portuguese capital.  All week, similar disturbances are planned, with a peak in the middle of the week, since the entire transportation sector (road, rail and river) announced stoppages in the morning.  Private businesses will join the movement, as well as truck drivers.  The strike should also affect Porto, the second largest city in the country, as well as a few secondary towns.  The Post (CCT-Correios de Portugal), is also planning three 3.5-hour strikes.
