Unions announced they struck an agreement in principle over the new ‘Competitiveness and employment agreement’, which guarantees both an increase in industrial activity at the Valladolid and Palencia sites and 2,000 hires over four years, in exchange for which employees will have to carry out more work per year.
Management and representatives of the WC at Renault Valladolid came to agreement on the night of 31 March over social conditions and wages to accompany a new industrial plan for the group’s Spanish sites. The text is expected to be approved by the workers in the next few days.
