Back to work. This morning, after 20 days of strike, Electrolux’s Satu Mare plant reopened its doors and normal activity resumed (see our dispatch No. 120099). For 20 days, production had been on halt because employees were on strike, demanding a wage increase and the negotiation of a new collective agreement. the social conflict in this factory, which produces 1,800 gas stoves a day, generated major delivery problems and was leading to important financial losses for the Swedish household appliances group.
