Lingering negotiations.  On Wednesday, February 2nd, a new meeting took place between union representatives, Labor Minister Ioan Botis and Premier Emil Boc but it didn’t achieve the negotiations on the new Labor Code, even though the talks should have ended on January 21st, to send the bill to Parliament.  “A few comas were changed” declared Ion Pisic, VP of the National Union Bloc, before adding that collective bargaining was still on.
