The Italian Building, Construction and Public Works group, Salini Impregilo signed in conjunction with the national construction unions Feneal Uil, Filca Cisl, Fillea CGIL and the international federation of building and wood workers, the BWI, a framework agreement under which the Italian group agrees to promote and to respect fundamental human rights and workers rights at all the group’s worksites throughout the world.
In the International Framework Agreement signed in Milan on October 13, Salini Impregilo* the Italian unions Feneal Uil, Filca Cisl, Fillea CGIL, and the International union the BWI agreed to promote and respect the fundamental human rights as defined by international standards in all of the group’s activities and sites, as well as those of its contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.
