During the conference organized by the foundation Europe and Company, on March 14th and 15th in Paris, Danièle Guyen, director of social relations for Schneider Electric, announced the opening of a transnational negotiation to accompany the group’s restructurings. (Réf. 06273).
Within the framework of the NEW2 company program, the management invited, in January 2005, the European work’s council to think of methods of accompaniment which could attenuate the possible negative consequences of the company’s development plan. The decision to open a European and transnational negotiation was made in November 2005 in order to define guidelines as regards “anticipatory management of restructurings in order to fix some minimal social principles”, specifies Danièle N’Guyen....
