Following the failure to reach agreement with the trade union bodies, on 14 September during the Economic and Social Council meeting, Serbia’s executive decided the amount of the minimum wage for the year 2024. Thus on 01 January 2024 ,the hourly minimum wage, excluding taxes and compulsory social insurance contributions, will rise 17.8% vis-à-vis 2023 and move up from 230 dinars (€1.96) to 271 dinars (€2.31). The monthly salary will rise from 40,000 dinars (€341) to 47,154 dinars (€402).
