Six Member States launch an initiative for an “European Pact for gender equality”

The signatories consider that “policies to promote women’s employment and to ensure opportunities for both women and men to combine professional and private lifre are therefore crucial”. They ask the Chancellor to put this project in the Spring European Council’s agenda in order to be discussed by the head of States and governments.
