Preparation is underway in Slovakia for the introduction of the Euro. Indeed, on January 1, 2009 Slovakia becomes the 16th country to join the European Union's common currency. New acts have been developed to help physical and legal persons prepare for Euro introduction sufficiently in advance. Peter Varga, lawyer at the PRK law firm in Bratislava, details the agenda for the introduction of the Euro and its consequences for employers. (Ref. 081025)
