The booming automobile industry of Slovakia and related sectors suffer from a lack of skilled workers. Around 16 000 skilled workers will be missing this year, according to employers' organizations. (Ref. 06345)
This is the conclusion of a conference called “Technical Education and its Future” that was organized in Bratislava by the Confederation of Industry Associations of the Slovak Republic and the Automotive Industry Association of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the government.
