Slovak government has unanimously approved draft amendment to the Labour Code. The amendment was drafed by the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family and was now passed to the Parliament. (Ref. 070396)
According to the ministry, the main aim is to strenghten protection of employees, improve their working conditions including work safety and health protection. The draft should also harmonize Slovak legislation with EU law.
