On 23 January, Slovenia’s labour minister announced a 4.2% increase in the minimum wage for 2024. The wage level will rise from €1,203.36 to €1,253.90 gross per month with effect from 1 January, marking an increase of €50.54 per month. The government says its position is to “increase the minimum wage this year in line with the inflation rate, so by 4.2% [annual growth in consumer prices in December 2023 compared with December 2022, ed.]”.
