On June 13, the management of the Belgian chemical group and the EWC renewed the anticipation agreement establishing the European representation structure. This agreement includes the novelties introduced by recast directive 2009/38.
Solvay established a European Works Council in 1995, i.e. before the 94/45 directive. It is the most important renewal agreement of those signed since as it explains this structure’s information and consultation prerogatives in keeping with the provisions of the 2009 recast directive.
