On 01 March 2023, Law 4/2023 of 28 February 2023 “for the real and effective equality of transgender people and to guarantee the rights of LGBTI people” (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) was published in the Spanish Official Bulletin. The text came into force on 02 March and aims to remove “the obstacles that prevent them from fully exercising their citizenship”, especially in the workplace.
