Negotiations dealt with briskly.  The government, which already set the deadline to January 28th for the Council of Ministers to validate the text, expressed its will to reach an agreement with the social partners.  The situation seemed complicated.  One of the key objectives of the reform wished by the government was retirement at 67, which led to unions’ immediate rejection and prevented the debate from moving forward.
