Spain: Leroy Merlin in Madrid signs agreement on more work on Sunday

On November 28, the management signed, with the Fetico majority union and UGT and USO unions, an agreement extending the opening of stores until 10 pm instead of 3 pm in the Madrid area for 3 additional Sundays in December.  The company’s agreement already provides for working Sundays until the middle of the afternoon and allows opening in the evening for 22 Sundays a year.  CCOO refused to join and protests against this increase in working time with nothing in return.  (Ref.  130771)
