A decree-law, enforced on September 20, aims at encouraging unemployment aliens to return to their country of origin by enabling them to receive the whole amount of the unemployment benefits to which they are theoretically entitled. (Ref. 080760)
In a context of rising unemployment on the Spanish peninsula, especially among immigrants, the government has urgently approved a measure aimed at encouraging non-European workers to return to their country.
