On February 6, 2006, the government submitted its preliminary draft law for gender equality to social partners. Employers’ organizations and trade unions were gathered for their last scheduled meeting within the framework of the negotiation en employment law, that started 10 months ago. (Ref. 06107)
At a negotiation meeting on the reform of employment law, currently in discussion between the government and social partners, the Secretary of State to Employment, Valeriano Gomez, introduced the preliminary draft law on gender equality. The following elements are proposed:
