On 14 February, Spanish labour minister Yolanda Diaz launched the first “social dialogue roundtable to eradicate discrimination against LGTBI people in companies“, along with representatives of trade unions (CCOO and UGT) and employers’ organisations (CEOE). The aim of this tripartite negotiation is to apply the provisions of the law of 28 February 2023, known as the “trans law”, in order to achieve “real and effective” equality and guarantee the rights of the people concerned.
