Owned by the Norwegian State, Statkraft is the biggest renewable energy company in Europe, especially for the production of water power. Based in Oslo, the company employs 3,400 people in 20 countries. In Europe, it is present in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, France, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albany and Turkey.
