On 29 June an agreement was struck between the employers’ confederation Almega, and the services and communications union Seko (service- och kommunikationsfacket). Decisions over working time are starting to filter through and wage provisions are in line with industry union indications.
Remuneration increases with a special focus on the weakest salaries. From a wages perspective nothing unusual was thrown up and wage increases were in line with previous indications. Nevertheless Seko, realizing more progress was possible sought to secure better pay formulas for the lowest earners including:
- Wage rises in percentage terms as well as in currency amounts: for those earning less than SEK 28,093 (€2,987) per month will receive an extra SEK 590 (€62.7); and those earning more...
