Following the industry sector agreement (c.f. article No. 10145) Sweden’s collective negotiations continue apace. Three agreements have been signed in the commercial sector for workers in e-commerce, warehousing, and private sector shops and supermarkets and notably include commitments over flexibility. In the IT and Telecoms sector, Unionen (private sector employees) secured an agreement with IT&Telekomföretagen in particular on part-time retirement.
Commercial sector agreement. Three agreements were secured in April between Handels (commercial sector workers union) and Svensk Handel (commercial sector employers’ body) covering workers in warehousing and e-commerce as well as private sector shops and also between Handels and the KFO (cooperative sector employers’ body) covering co-operatives and supermarket workers.
Common provisions. Each of the three agreements has a three-year life, in line with the industry agreement including a SEK 1,57
