On 08 June Sweden’s parliament adopted a draft law that was initially presented in May 2014 and that aims to bolster protection for whistle-blowers. The law is set to come into force on 01 January 2017.
Changes. A pretty good idea in itself: strengthen safety levels of whistle-blowers by voting in a law specifically treating private life and public property in a bid to protect those who could be affected by any whistleblowing.
