…Sweden: proposals to simplify holiday entitlement legislation
A committee set up by the Labour Ministry to reflect on the simplification of legislation relating to rights for the various holidays announced its conclusions on 20th April earlier this year. The objective of its work was to simplify these laws and reduce the administrative costs for companies, especially for SMEs. During their work, the idea of establishing semi-retirement was considered and the government is planning to take this up. (Ref. 090500)
