The European Economic and Social Committee considers Danish flexecurity

The European Economic and Social Committee adopted, last 17 May, an initiative opinion on flexecurity in Denmark, which tries to encircle the elements of the Danish success which are transposable in the other Member States, so much Denmark seems to be the country which complies the best with the Lisbon strategy. The Danish version of flexsecurity is an “example of social balance when it comes to maintaining economic growth, a high rate of employment and viable public accounts “, underlines Anita Vium, the reporter of the Committee.
