The deputies Albino Silva Peneda (EPP-DE, Portugal) and Proinsias De Rossa (PES, Ireland) presented at the commission for Employment and social Affairs at the European Parliament of 21 and 22 March, their report called “a European social model for the future”. This report contains proposals to improve the life of citizens in the European Union while remaining competitive on the world economic scene. The presentation of the report was followed by a hearing of experts.
