Total's management is going to start a negotiation, at the end of the month, on swarming and company solidarity. It also agreed on a future negotiation dealing with safety at work. (Ref 06858)

On September 26th and 27th, 2006, management and European union confederations of the Total group will start a negotiation on company solidarity and swarming. As for this last point, a working group composed of three European union confederations (Feccia, Fecer and Emcef) released a report in June. The aim is to spread out in Europe the practices already implemented by Total in France in the field of swarming and in help brought to SME ’s located in labour basins in which the group is establish
