On 20 December 2005, the Transdev transportation group concluded an agreement aimed at creating a European work’s council. The text organizes workers’ consultation in the event of special circumstances, even if these concern only one company in one country. (Ref.06215)
The agreement was signed by French trade unions CFDT, CGT, FO; the Portuguese FESTRU, the British TGWU and by a London United employees’ representative (British company). The new work’s council will have the same attributions than the French group work’s council and the European branch council, which was created on 12 October 2004.
