The Belgian steel and chemistry group Umicore signed an international framework agreement on September 28, 2007, with the International Metalworkers' Federation (IMF) and the International federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Union (ICEM), which establishes a committee to follow up and revise the agreement. The Belgian group Umicore (the former Union Minière group), which employs 14.000 people in 35 countries, concluded this four-year agreement with the two international union federations IMF and ICEM.
