When presenting her Budget on 30 October, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves announced a 6.7% increase in the living wage from 1 April 2025. It will rise from £11.44 to £12.21 an hour (€13.63 and €14.55 respectively) for employees aged 21 and over.
