In a statement published on 12 March, the UK government presented several changes to immigration regulations, including an increase in the minimum wage for hiring a skilled foreign worker. This rises from £11.90 to £12.82 gross per hour, or €15.25. The aim of this increase is to ensure that it remains above the minimum living wage, which will be raised in April 2025 to £12.21 gross per hour.
