US automaker-financed training center funds, which are managed by the UAW, are at the heart of a major legal investigation into corruption.
A handful of leaders at the US union, United Automobile Workers (UAW), is under investigation for corruption by the FBI, the tax authorities, and the Department of Labor. The investigation started at Fiat Chrysler Automobile (FCA) and focused on the relationship between the FCA head of industrial relations and the relevant UAW counterpart.
