United States: Trump administration redirects National Labor Relations Board policy
On 14 February, acting general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) William Cowen rescinded a dozen circulars issued under Democrat President Joe Biden, on the grounds of reducing the agency's excessive workload and improving public service. His appointment came on 3 February, after Donald Trump dismissed general counsel Jennifer Abruzzo and the Democrat NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox, both of whom had been appointed by his predecessor.
