On 28 January, 19 US states sent a letter to the chief executive of Costco, a brand name that is emblematic not only for its HR and pay policies, but also for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). The group is being urged to bring itself into line with the new standards being pushed by the new US President Donald Trump.
